The TITAN Laboratory is seeking applications for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our interdisciplinary team working at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and human electrophysiology.

The successful candidate will develop novel approaches for neural encoding and decoding using state-of-the-art deep learning methods applied to multimodal neural recordings, including intracranial EEG (SEEG, MUA, with potential access to µECoG recordings or NeuroPixel) and next-generation magnetoencephalography (rubidium-based OPM-MEG).

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the Digital Brain Project and to participate in the development of computational models linking neural dynamics to cognition, language, and neurological disorders. Candidates interested in translational neuroscience will also have the opportunity to extend their research toward epilepsy-related applications, including the development of an “Epileptic Digital Brain”.

Research Environment

The TITAN Laboratory combines expertise in human electrophysiology, cognitive neuroscience, machine learning, and clinical neuroscience. The postdoctoral fellow will work in close collaboration with clinicians, neuroscientists, and AI researchers, with access to unique multimodal datasets and cutting-edge recording technologies.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with:

A PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong programming skills in Python (advanced to expert level).
Demonstrated experience in deep learning and machine learning.
Experience with neuroimaging, electrophysiology, or neural data analysis.
A solid background in signal processing.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary research environment.
