她于巴黎高等师范学院(2021–2024)完成了博士学位,师从 Pierre Bourdillon 博士和 Jean-Rémi King 博士,并获得了玛丽·居里行动计划(Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions)的 COFUND 奖学金(AI4theSciences)资助。她的博士研究课题为 “Language Acquisition in Brains and Algorithms”,结合了神经记录与深度学习模型,以此探索语言表征在发育过程中的涌现与演变。2022 年,她还在 Meta AI(FAIR,巴黎)进行了研究实习,其成果发表于 ACL 2023。

在攻读博士学位之前,她于伦敦帝国理工学院(2016–2021)获得了生物医学工程本硕连读工程硕士(MEng)学位,并于 2020 年在伦敦埃森哲(Accenture)从事了一年的客户创新与数据科学工作。她对深度学习 King 趣始于其硕士毕业论文,期间她作为共同作者发表了一篇关于提升神经网络鲁棒性的仿生计算论文。

   

Linnea 致力于人工智能与神经科学的交叉研究,将机器学习与大脑处理及习得语言的方式相结合。她的工作涵盖了从原始神经信号到高级计算模型的整个领域,并特别关注将大规模 AI 模型构建并应用于大脑数据。

她在深度学习(deep learning)、自然语言处理(NLP)和神经解码方面拥有丰富的经验,并凭借其在生物医学工程、认知科学和人工智能方面的背景,带来了独特的跨学科视角。她曾为开源科学软件做出贡献,并在 Meta AI 和埃森哲(Accenture)积累了企业经验,同时还在牛津布鲁克斯大学(Oxford Brookes University)拥有负责任 AI(AI éthique)的研究经验。

   

Linnea 未来几年的研究计划将核心围绕在探讨大脑与人工智能(AI)系统在编码、维持以及发展语言时的相似性与差异性。

神经基础模型(Foundation Models): 开发基于大规模大脑记录训练的通用模型,使其能够针对各种下游神经科学和临床任务进行微调(fine-tuned),包括言语解码和语言定位。
全生命周期的语言发育: 利用珍贵的儿童颅内脑电(iEEG)数据集和前沿大语言模型(LLM)的嵌入表征(embeddings),追溯语言表征从婴儿期到成年期在大脑中的演变轨迹。
时序语言的神经编码: 理解大脑如何随着时间的推移维持并处理词语序列,包括探究防止重叠表征之间产生干扰的动态神经机制。
架起 AI 与神经科学 research 的桥梁: 借鉴大脑学习语言的方式来设计更高效、更具生物学合理性(biologically plausible)的 AI 架构,反之亦然。
临床应用: 致力于神经解码的实际落地应用,尤其是为存在言语障碍的患者开发脑机接口(BCI)技术。
